About our property: What you will have an opportunity to do: Reports To: Director of Golf Club Operations Position Summary The Executive Chef is responsible for leading all culinary operations at CAVU Golf Club, including menu development, food quality, kitchen operations, financial performance, team leadership, and member dining experiences. As a key member of the Club's leadership team, the Executive Chef will create exceptional culinary experiences while fostering a culture of hospitality, teamwork, accountability, and continuous improvement. Culinary & Member Experience - Develop and execute seasonal menus for the Club's dining operation, member events, and special functions. - Ensure exceptional food quality, presentation, consistency, and service standards. - Create innovative dining experiences including themed dinners, wine events, holiday programming, and special member functions. - Engage with members and guests to gather feedback and continuously enhance the dining experience. Leadership & Team Development - Recruit, train, develop, and lead the culinary team. - Foster a positive, professional, and collaborative workplace culture. - Establish clear performance expectations and provide ongoing coaching and feedback. - Maintain staffing levels necessary to support Club operations and service standards. Operations & Financial Management - Oversee all kitchen operations, including scheduling, purchasing, inventory management, sanitation, and food safety compliance. - Manage food and labor costs to achieve budgeted goals. - Develop and maintain strong vendor relationships. - Participate in annual budgeting, forecasting, and strategic planning initiatives. Collaboration - Partner closely with Food & Beverage and Club leadership to deliver exceptional member experiences. - Support tournaments, social events, and Club programming through effective planning and execution. - Contribute positively to the Club's leadership culture and strategic objectives.
