THIS IS A NATIONAL GUARD TITLE 32 EXCEPTED SERVICE POSITION. This National Guard position is for a COST ACCOUNTANT. This position is located at US Property and Fiscal Office Comptroller Branch, Accounting Services Branch. The primary purpose of this position is to serve as a Cost Accountant in a developmental capacity, performing assignments designed to further develop applicable analytical and evaluative skills. Military Grades: E-4 /SPC thru E-7/SFC 2LT thru CPT Compatible Military Assignments: ARNG Enlisted: 36B; 42A ARNG Officer: 36A; 3B;42B ARNG WO: 420A GENERAL EXPERIENCE: The applicant must have at least the basic finance or audit training or competencies that provided knowledge of financial principles and procedures. The applicant must have some understanding of the basic principles and concepts of the National Guard accounting business program requirements. SPECIALIZED EXPERIENCE: Must have 1-year equivalent specialized experience to at least the next lower grade level before being eligible for the next grade level. Must have fundamental working experiences with a validated understanding of the basic principles and concepts of the accountant occupational series and grade. Experiences gained through military technical training schools or civilian academic courses or related civilian work are included in the one-year on-the-job specialized experience. Compatible Military Skills for Series GS-0510: ARNG Officer - Branch 36A, Financial Manager, and Branch 36B, Financial Management Technician ARNG Enlisted - MOS 36B, Financial Technician, and MOS 42A, Human Resources.
