This position will be located in Redondo Beach, CA, but may consider candidates based in Palmdale, CA. Due to program operations and business need the position will be on-site daily. The selected candidate will support the Air Dominance F-35 team to meet the goals and objectives of the AS Business Management organization. Essential Functions: Strategizes, develops, and manages comprehensive export/import authorizations to ensure compliance with US and foreign regulations Follows business processes pertaining to export/import requirements and all necessary export and import licenses, permits, certifications, and technology release determinations Establishes and maintains relations with appropriate government regulatory agencies and internal customers Assures trade compliance through gate reviews for technical data, foreign travel, foreign visits and export and import shipments Support internal trade compliance assessments and audits, including required documentation preparation and reviews with management, auditors, and legal counsel Maintains applicable trade compliance records in accordance with regulatory requirements This requisition may be filled as either a Principal International Trade Compliance Analyst or Senior Principal International Trade Compliance Analyst Basic Qualifications for the Principal International Trade Compliance Analyst: High School Diploma or GED with a minimum of 9 years experience in Trade Compliance, Contracts, Legal or a relevant field; OR Bachelor's degree with a minimum of 5 years experience in Trade Compliance, Contracts, Legal or a relevant field; OR Master's degree with a minimum of 3 years experience in Trade Compliance, Contracts, Legal or a relevant field. Knowledge of the International Traffic in Arms Regulations (ITAR), Export Administration Regulations (EAR), and other US Government Regulations. Ability to obtain and maintain a DoD Secret Clearance. Basic Qualifications for the Senior Principal International Trade Compliance Analyst: High School Diploma or GED with a minimum of 12 years experience in Trade Compliance, Contracts, Legal or a relevant field; OR Bachelor's degree with a minimum of 8 years experience in Trade Compliance, Contracts, Legal or a relevant field; OR Master's degree with a minimum of 6 years experience in Trade Compliance, Contracts, Legal or a relevant field. Knowledge of the International Traffic in Arms Regulations (ITAR), Export Administration Regulations (EAR), and other US Government Regulations. Ability to obtain and maintain a DoD Secret Clearance.
