You will serve as a SUPERVISORY IT SPECIALIST (PLCYPLN) in the FLEET INSTALATION ENGINEERING & LOGISTICS, 40000 of NAVWARSYSCEN PACIFIC SAN DIEGO CA. I have one year of information technology related experience in the federal service or private or public sector demonstrating the following four competencies, as defined: 1. Attention to Detail - Is thorough when performing work and conscientious about attending to detail. IT-related experience demonstrating this competency include: Evaluate completed projects and employee's performance to ensure all policies and standards have been followed and meet customer and Centers criteria. 2. Customer Service - Works with clients and customers (that is, any individuals who use or receive the services or products that your work unit produces, including the general public, individuals who work in the agency, other agencies, or organizations outside the Government) to assess their needs, provide information or assistance, resolve their problems, or satisfy their expectations; knows about available products and services; is committed to providing quality products and services. IT-related experience demonstrating this competency include: Interface with high-ranking military and civilian management personnel successfully. 3. Oral Communication - Expresses information (for example, ideas or facts) to individuals or groups effectively, taking into account the audience and nature of the information (for example, technical, sensitive, controversial); makes clear and convincing oral presentations; listens to others, attends to nonverbal cues, and responds appropriately. IT-related experience demonstrating this competency include: Organizing workflow and ensuring employees understand their duties and delegated tasks must maintain Cyber security posture. 4. Problem Solving - Identifies problems; determines accuracy and relevance of information; uses sound judgment to generate and evaluate alternatives, and to make recommendations. IT-related experience demonstrating this competency include: Comply with regulations in such areas as financial, property management, prevention of fraud, waste and mismanagement, occupational safety, environmental, security compliance and management control program objectives. In addition to my experience demonstrating the four competencies above, I have one year of specialized experience equivalent to the next lower grade level (GS-11) or pay band NM-03 in the federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector Provides oversight and direction to a multidisciplinary team executing Capabilities-Based In-Service Engineering Activities (CB-ISEA), including platform integration, project management and integrated logistics and sustainment of C4I systems supporting NC3 and/or Naval Modernized Hybrid Solutions (NMHS).
