Responsibilities

  • Support or lead the planning, setup, execution, and documentation of component- and system-level tests across mechanical, electrical, and environmental domains

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Aerospace Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or a related technical field
  • Test Engineer I: Bachelor's degree with 0-1 years of academic or industry experience in a test, validation, or lab environment
  • Test Engineer II: Bachelor's degree with 2-4+ years of hands-on test engineering experience within the aerospace or defense industry, or a Master's degree with relevant experience
  • Demonstrated proficiency in, or strong interest in developing expertise across, test planning, execution, and post-test analysis using modern tools and methods
  • Working knowledge of test equipment, instrumentation, data acquisition systems, and test scription or automation
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to follow defined processes and safety protocols
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office; ability to learn test management and data analysis tools
  • Strong documentation and communication skills
  • U.S. Citizenship required due to government contracts
  • PREFERRED SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE
  • Experience with environmental testing (vibration, thermal, shock, TVAC, EMI/EMC)
  • Strong technical writing and report generation skills
  • Familiarity with aerospace and defense test standards (e.g., MIL-STD-810, DO-160)
  • Hands-on experience with lab instrumentation, sensors, and DAQ systems
  • Experience with data analysis or automation tools such as LabVIEW, MATLAB, or Python
  • Exposure to failure investigations, root cause analysis, and non-conformance tracking
  • Active DoD clearance or ability to obtain one
