Applied AI Focus Focuses on integrating, deploying, and scaling existing AI models to solve business problems. Design, deploy, and maintain scalable AI agents, Retrieval-Augmented Generation (RAG) pipelines, and system integrations that solve concrete business problems. - Orchestration: Linking models to APIs, databases, and front-end interfaces. - Agentic Workflows: Moving models beyond chat interfaces into systems capable of multi-step reasoning, tool-use, and task execution. - RAG Systems: Designing vector databases, chunking strategies, and retrieval evaluation to ground LLMs in specific enterprise data. - Model Evaluation & Tuning: Conducting fine-tuning and putting strong safety guardrails and evaluation frameworks in place.
Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain relationships with key strategic partners and agencies; build trust through your deep technical expertise of their platforms and customer needs.
- Collaborate cross-functionally with Partnerships and/or Agency Leads and Product teams to develop, manage and grow partner relationships with a focus on technical aspects (i.e. technical presentations, trainings, consultations, integration guides, and best practices).
- Be an expert on TikTok's API capabilities and partner offerings from technical lens. Advocate for API improvements and influence product roadmap with internal product teams to solve business challenges.
- Build and ship new products as well as end-to-end integrations in collaboration with Ads product engineering teams.
- Maintain subject matter expertise on marketing technology and API trends.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree or above, majoring in Computer Science or related fields.
- 3+ years of experience shipping production quality code
- Have experience building or shipping machine learning or LLM-powered products.
- Have worked on model evaluation, fine-tuning, or prompt design.
- Familiar with one or more general purpose programming languages including but not limited to: Python, Go, Java, C/C++.
- Ability to effectively communicate technical concepts to non-technical audiences and to collaborate with various sized stakeholder groups internally and externally.
- Demonstrated knowledge of API and backend systems design.
- Experience in advertising technology working with large volume data analytics.
- Solutions-oriented with strong problem-solving and development experience

- The base salary range for this position in the selected city is $156000 - $316800 annually.
