Responsibilities

  • Provide advanced Level 2 and Level 3 support for enterprise data and wireless network environments.
  • Perform complex troubleshooting, root-cause analysis, and permanent resolution for network and wireless issues.

  • Lead or contribute significantly to network implementation, migration, refresh, and rollout projects.
  • Manage incidents, service requests, problem tickets, and change activities within ITSM platforms following ITIL processes.
  • Coordinate with OEM vendors, ISPs, and Cisco TAC for escalations and critical issue resolution.
  • Monitor and optimize network performance, availability, capacity, and reliability using enterprise monitoring platforms.
  • Maintain detailed technical documentation, network diagrams, SOPs, and operational runbooks.
  • Mentor junior engineers and support knowledge-sharing initiatives within the team.
  • Participate in on-call support, maintenance windows, and after-hours activities for critical projects and incidents.
  • Required Skills & Experience
  • 6-10 years of hands-on experience in enterprise Network Operations, Engineering, and Delivery.
  • Strong knowledge of LAN, WAN, Wireless, SD-WAN, VPN, campus, and datacenter networking technologies.
  • Hands-on experience with Cisco, Arista, HP, Palo Alto, Viptela, or equivalent enterprise networking platforms.
  • Strong understanding of routing and switching protocols, VLANs, STP, OSPF, BGP, wireless security, and enterprise network design concepts.
  • Expertise in Cisco Wireless technologies including WLCs, APs, CAPWAP/LWAPP, and Wi-Fi standards (802.11 a/b/g/n/ac/ax).
  • Good understanding of wireless security technologies including WPA2/WPA3, 802.1X, PEAP, RADIUS, TACACS+, and ACLs.
  • Experience with Cisco Prime Infrastructure, SolarWinds, PRTG, or equivalent monitoring and management platforms.
  • Hands-on exposure to Cisco ISE and enterprise authentication frameworks.
  • Working knowledge of Windows Server, Linux, and basic network automation/orchestration tools.
  • Familiarity with ITIL framework and ITSM ticketing systems.
  • Strong communication, stakeholder management, troubleshooting, and analytical skills.
  • Ability to work effectively in fast-paced global enterprise environments under tight timelines.
