The Detail Manager is responsible for inventory control, employee supervision, department profitability and customer satisfaction. Supervisory Responsibilities: This job has direct supervisory responsibilities. Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following: Oversees training and supervising of detail department employees. Works with upper management and Human Resources to make detail department hiring and discipline decisions. Sets schedules and assigns tasks to detail department employees Attends required manager meetings. Maintains effective employee relations. Ensures quality of work meets dealership standards. Coordinates between department heads of all dealerships to ensure timely completion of detail work. Checks inventory of supplies and orders additional supplies as needed. Maintains CSI at or above company standards. Maintains an organized, clean and safe work area Participates in required training Records all hours worked accurately in company timekeeping system Follows Safeguards rules and regulations.
