About the role

About the Position: You will serve as a Business Analyst (Procurement) who will provide constant surveillance of all phases of acquisition planning and execution from initiation of an acquisition requirement through contract award and completion. Current United States Army Futures Command Combat Capabilities Development Command C5ISR Center employees with competitive status within the local commuting area. Consideration will also be given to Current Army employees with personal competitive status. In order to qualify, you must meet the experience requirements described below. Experience refers to paid and unpaid experience, including volunteer work done through National Service programs (e.g., Peace Corps, AmeriCorps) and other organizations (e.g., professional; philanthropic; religious; spiritual; community; student; social). You will receive credit for all qualifying experience, including volunteer experience. Your resume must clearly describe your relevant experience; if qualifying based on education, your transcripts will be required as part of your application. Additional information about transcripts is in this document. To qualify based on your experience, your resume must describe at least one year of experience which prepared you to do the work in this job. Specialized experience equivalent to DE-02/ GS-11 grade level or equivalent pay band in the Federal service that is defined as performing ALL of the following duties: 1) Developing acquisition documentation to include acquisition requirements packages; 2) Evaluating financial reports for acquisition programs; 3) Developing and recommending acquisition strategies for approval; and, 4) Serving as a Contracting Officer's Representative (COR) for multiple acquisitions.
