- Provide technical leadership on risk assessments, explosion protection, hazardous area compliance and applicable harmonised standards, including EN14460:2018, IEC 60079-32-1 and ISO 12100.
- Lead root cause investigations into technical incidents and product failures, implementing effective corrective and preventative actions.
- Develop and execute test plans and test rigs to validate the safety and performance of equipment and components.
- Identify and implement improvements to engineering tools, standards and procedures to enhance safety, compliance and operational efficiency.
- Carry out site surveys, hazardous area classifications and ATEX audits, including travel within the UK and internationally where required.
- Plan, coordinate and monitor engineering activities to ensure projects are delivered safely, efficiently and in compliance with all applicable standards.
- Work with third-party contractors to establish safe working practices and realistic project delivery plans.
- Ensure effective integration of process requirements into automation and control systems.
- Manage project tasks and associated resources to achieve cost, quality and delivery objectives while providing regular progress updates to Project Managers.
- Work effectively across multiple engineering disciplines and projects simultaneously.

- Ensure all engineering documentation and information is checked, verified and approved in accordance with company procedures.
