Manufacturing Engineer - Automation & Maintenance

Responsibilities

• Develop and document requirements required to design an automotive system
• Design and manage key strategic interfaces within systems to enable component reuse and consistency to standard methodologies
• Oversee requirements development with other activities.
• Provide support to other specialists for root cause analysis
• Strong ability to expertly capture and analyze empirical data.
• Design Tests to efficiently find opportunities for design improvements
• Stay on top of industry trends, technologies, and best practices.
• Identify and document system vulnerabilities and craft mitigation action plans; track corrective actions
• Work Appropriately
• On Site: This position requires working on site on a full-time basis.
• This position requires to change shifts (4x3)
• Required Qualifications:
• Bachelor's degree in Electrical, Mechatronics, Automation, or related Engineering field.
• Proven experience in maintenance and industrial manufacturing environments.
• Strong background in preventive and corrective maintenance practices.
• Experience conducting root cause analysis and failure diagnostics.
• Solid understanding of electrical and electronic systems.
• Technical Skills:
• PLC programming and troubleshooting: Rockwell (Allen-Bradley) and Siemens
• Automation systems: Fanuc robots
• Vision systems: Keyence, Matrox
• Industrial networks and communication protocols
• Troubleshooting of automated production equipment
