JOB DESCRIPTION Position Summary : The Manager II , Accounting role reports directly to the Shared Services Senior Accounting Manager based in Manila, with functional direction, performance objectives, KPIs, and day-to-day priorities aligned through the Senior Director, Controller AMC. This position is responsible for supporting the broader AMC controllership team with the preparation and review of monthly and quarterly journal entries and balance sheet reconciliations, ensuring accuracy, timeliness, and compliance of all deliverables with corporate standards and U.S. GAAP . As a people leader, this role carries accountability for key controlling and reporting activities, provides leadership to direct reports, and plays a critical role in special projects, system implementations, and continuous process improvement initiatives. Job Details: Hybrid Setup: at least 4 times RTO in a month Schedule: 16:00PM - 01:00AM - with flexibility for night-shift coverage as needed(especially during month-end closing) Major Responsibilities: Manage shared services accounting team to drive timely completion of all deliverables with first time quality . Review monthly journal entries and overall general ledger for accuracy and proper recording of transactions. Reviewer of various accounting policy related responsibilities including the consolidated quarterly A/R bad debt reserve for the Segment, hedging related accounting entries, standard costing and annual updates, Excess & Obsolete Inventory, asset disposals, lease additions and terminations, and complex allocation entries from our Corporate accounting team. Establish Centers of Excellence across direct reports to drive consistent, repeatable, and efficient processes across all AMC divisions that follow the established company's financial policies and accounting policy interpretations. Manage the Intercompany out-of-balance process and work directly with accounting team and divisional Finance leaders to proactively identify root causes of issues and work collaboratively to drive resolution timely. Implement standard operating rhythm to drive timely completion of all compliance related items: account reconciliations, audit acti vities, SOX deficiencies, and open Audit Board tasks. Develop deep understanding of divisional ERP systems utilized along with One Stream account mappings to ensure consistent mappings across the S egment; make recommend ations as necessary to standardize processes. Develop er of improvements to current accounting processes to facilitate more efficient and accurate month end close and reconciliation processes. Develops processes and controls to ensure compliance with statutory regulations and Corporate accounting standards/policies . Protects operations by keeping financial information and plans confidential. Contributes to team efforts of the global Segment by accomplishing related results as needed. Performs all tasks in accordance with Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP) . Provides data as requested to internal and external auditors for the corporate accounting group . Required Education / Experience / Skills: Bachelor's degree in accounting ; advanced degree preferred . Accounting certification required . 10 + years of relevant and progressive accounting/finance experience within an Industrial or Global Manufacturing Organization, including leadership roles. 3+ years of Manager/direct report experience . Strong understanding and practical working knowledge of US GAAP . Excellent communication skills . Travel: AMC segment is a Global Business. Some travel to locations may be expected.
