Lecturer in English

Responsibilities

• Teach and assess learners across a range of English programmes, including GCSE and Functional Skills
• Deliver engaging, accessible lessons that develop learners' reading, writing, speaking and listening skills
• Support learners with varying abilities, including those who may lack confidence in English
• Use creative, inclusive and practical approaches to make English relevant to everyday life, employment and further study
• Maintain high standards of safeguarding, professionalism, and learner wellbeing
• Track learner progress and provide constructive feedback to support achievement

Requirements

• A relevant English qualification (Level 3 or above)
• Strong subject knowledge and the ability to explain concepts clearly and patiently
• Experience working with learners or supporting others in education or training
• A commitment to inclusive teaching and learner success
• A teaching qualification is welcomed but not essential

Lecturer in English Location : Trowbridge Salary : Unqualified Lecturer: £14,647 per year, pro rata Qualified Lecturer: £15,942 - £20,407 per year, pro rata (Depending on Skills, Qualifications & Experience) Do you believe that English can change lives?
