Role Summary Join our Special Vehicles division and help shape customised transport solutions for defence and other demanding applications. As a System Engineer, you'll translate unique customer needs into Scania's electronic architecture while contributing to in-house systems and software. Working across the full vehicle lifecycle, you'll gain deep insight into Scania and TRATON's ecosystem - from concept to aftersales. This role is perfect for a senior engineer who enjoys hands-on work, system-level thinking and delivering real customer impact in a dynamic environment. Job Responsibilities Translate special customer requirements into Scania's electronic architecture. Develop and adapt embedded software (C/C++) for customised vehicle functions. Lead and coordinate complex cross-system assignments. Develop and maintain solutions for defence and special vehicle applications. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless system integration. Troubleshoot and resolve system/software issues in production and field operations. Assess the technical feasibility of after-sales rebuilds from a system and software perspective. Act as a key interface, turning customer needs into effective technical solutions.
