Senior Underwriter, Property Facultative

Responsibilities

• The Senior Underwriters are responsible for developing client relationships and submission flow, as well as underwriting and negotiating the transactions.
• Required Skills
• 15-20 years property insurer or reinsurer underwriting experience

Requirements

• Proven ability to work as part of a team
• Demonstrated customer-service focus coupled with strong negotiation skills
• Strong Property Underwriting Acumen including an understanding of coverage, risk hazards and policy forms
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Sound Computer/Technology skills
• Desire for continued learning
• Education
• Bachelor's degree (ideally with a degree/major in Risk Management, Economics, or Business) or equivalent training required
• Additional industry-specific study and designations (such as CPCU, ARe) a plus

• For individuals assigned or hired to work in the location(s) indicated below, the base salary range is provided. Range is as of the time of posting. Position is incentive eligible.
• $200,000 - $271,000/year

This position will require some domestic travel, approximately 15%.
