Marketing Project Specialist - Remote from Columbia, SC

About the role

This position is remote however it is required to live in or around Columbia, South Carolina. Conducts primary/secondary market research to be used in development of new products/programs. Provides information in concise/well-written reports to assist in strategic/marketing plan. Implements and manages after launch major marketing projects, makes recommendations on product enhancement/performance, market demographics and new market potential. Trains and Supports marketing team to improve program engagement and member experience. Location: This position is full-time (40-hours/week) Monday-Friday. The position is remote however the candidate must reside in or around Columbia, South Carolina. You will work an 8-hour shift scheduled during our normal business hours of 8:00AM-5:00PM. It may be necessary, given the business need to work occasional overtime. You may be required to travel between buildings. This role is located at 4101 Percival Road, Columbia, SC 29229.

Responsibilities

• Analyzes customer satisfaction/dissatisfaction with products and processes, which may include pre and post campaign or conference feedback.
• Coordinates and completes other tasks and projects as assigned by management.
• To Qualify for This Position, You'll Need the Following:
• Required Education: Bachelor's Degree in any field.
• Required Work Experience:
• Three years of marketing support experience to include project coordination and implementations.
• Required Software and Tools : Strong Microsoft Office Suite experience (Outlook, PowerPoint, Excel)
• Required Skills and Abilities:
• Excellent Excel skills
• Strong knowledge of business development, strategic planning, marketing support and process improvement.
• Strong knowledge of marketing principles and techniques.
• Strong project planning and analytical/critical thinking skills.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to handle confidential or sensitive information with discretion.
• Demonstrated proficiency in spelling, punctuation, grammar skills.
• Ability to work independently and in a cross-functional team.
