Carolina Reserve of Durham is seeking a Certified Medication Aide for medication administration and supervisor-in-charge (SIC). At Navion Senior Solutions, our Certified Medication Aides are responsible for delivering high-quality medication administration and resident care oversight in a cutting-edge Assisted Living Community. High School diploma or related experience and/or training or equivalent combination of education and experience preferred. Must have current CNA certification or completed PCA training. Must be familiar with state regulations and willing to work with state inspections in the survey/monitoring process. On an annual basis, must complete 12 hours of continuing education credits related to the management of Assisted Living homes and care of geriatric and disabled residents. Must be able to express self adequately in written and oral communication and to communicate effectively in an interdisciplinary care setting with residents, families and staff members. Ability to work in an environment conducive to caring for seniors. Ability to work well with others and promote a team environment.
