We're committed to being your Company of Choice® JOB DESCRIPTION SUMMARY The Benefits Analyst shall support the Payroll and Benefits Department in the coordination, management and delivery of all company benefits. JOB DESCRIPTION The duties of the Benefits Analyst shall include, but are not necessarily limited to the following: Responsible for the Annual Open Enrollment of shoreside and fleet employees Administers the company's FMLA, Leave of Absence, and Return to Work processes Responsible for Payroll & Benefits New Hire Orientation which includes onboarding Provides training to employees on their benefits through New Hire Orientation presentations or one on one sessions Maintains the confidentiality of all matters related to payroll, benefits and employee compensation Administers company's benefits plans including confirming benefit eligibility and updating the benefits administration system with employee data and enrollment elections Responsible for reconciling and funding both the HSA and FSA programs for eligible employees. Maintains relationships with benefits broker and all benefits vendors and serves as a resource for employees for any questions or issues Prepares and sends updated employee information to vendors, including contributions and employee indicative data Manages compliance-related processes, including QMSCOs, COBRA, and ACA All other duties as assigned by management REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS Education: Bachelor's Degree or equivalent work experience is required. Experience: Three to Five years of related experience required. Skills: Ability to communicate with many different audiences. Language-fluency in written and spoken English. Working knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite applications - Excel, Word, Outlook and PowerPoint. Ability to get along well with others. Must be willing to board and ride vessels to increase understanding of how this role supports our business.
