About the role
This vacancy is for a Forklift Driver to join our Operations team in Tennyson, Brisbane. Full-time, permanent role Tuesday to Saturday Roster with 7:30am starts Saturday shifts commence at 5:30am (Weekend Rates Apply) Overtime offered on a need-by-need basis Unload and load vehicles and sort freight appropriately and safely Scanning freight, freight sortation and re-palletising of freight Picking and preparing runs for the following day Palletising freight for travel where required Ensuring the correct movement and distribution of freight in a timely manner Carry out all duties within set timeframes and follow instructions closely Identifying damages and reporting in accordance with site process Ensure compliance and safety is always adhered to Demonstrate a safety-first approach and follow WHS practices and procedures consistently Follow and comply with company procedures, including hazard, near miss and incident reporting processes Safely restrain loads and correctly use straps where required
Requirements
- Current and valid Forklift Licence (mandatory)
- Strong forklift operating skills with a focus on safety and efficiency
- Load restraint experience preferred
- Leadership qualities and a willingness to grow within the business highly regarded
- Ability to work as part of a team
- Ability to follow instructions and work autonomously where required
- Full rights to work in Australia
