We are looking for a proactive, organised and efficient individual to join us as a Divisional Operations Executive (DOE) supporting our field-based trading teams across the UK . A s part of our retail strategy, we've introduced a new o perations structure designed to strengthen how we deliver performance, consistency and compliance across our shop network. At the heart of this is the Divisional Operations Executive role , which connects national strategy with day-to-day delivery in the field . In this role you will work alongside Area Managers and support functions , u sing data and insight to identify risks and opportunities, embedding new ways of working, and driving consistent performance standards. This role enables a more joined-up, proactive approach , ensuring our shops are positioned to maximise income, improve the customer experience and deliver against our long-term retail ambitions. What will I be doing? Maintain and update compliance, h ealth and s afety and operational activity trackers based on information provided by central teams and field colleagues. Collate monthly and quarterly compliance reports, checking for missing or incomplete information and flagging issues to the Divisional Operations Manager or relevant teams. Support recruitment related tasks, including tracking, administration and remote candidate support. Work proactively in the delivery of Health & Safety documentation, including preparing files needed for audits and delivering these audits when required . Maintain accurate records relating to mandatory training completion and highlight outstanding items when asked. Work alongside the Profit, Protection and Compliance team to support stock take compliance, providing hands on support in shops when required Attend team meetings with divisions on a weekly basis to support and participate in discussion around shop performance and ongoing activities and objectives with support partners. Share updates and information with field teams as directed, ensuring documentation is circulated promptly and stored correctly. Work closely with the retail operations team, acting as representative for the field team on new initiatives and optimisation projects for retail. Act as a first point of contact for straightforward enquiries from shops or central teams, escalating more complex questions as needed. Communicate clearly and with credibility to a variety of stakeholders, delivering verbal and digital updates to different teams when required . Support the administration of planned or reactive retail instructions by updating logs and storing documentation. What are we looking for ? G ood IT and data skills with the ability to use Microsoft Office and internal business systems confidently. Strong attention to detail, ensuring accuracy when updating trackers, logs or reports. Good organisational and time management skills to support the timely delivery of routine processes. Willingness to collaborate with colleagues and provide helpful, timely support across the Division. Strong planning and organisational skills, able to prioritise and manage multiple tasks , working to challenging targets and deadlines. High level of drive and enthusiasm, highly motivated and ability to work under pressure. Ability to follow established procedures and escalate queries when necessary.
