The People Ops & Payroll Eastern Europe team keeps the engine running for SumUppers across the region - making sure every hire, change, and payroll cycle is handled accurately, on time, and with care. In Bulgaria alone, we support 520+ employees, and as the business continues to grow, reliable People Ops execution is what makes that growth feel seamless for the people living it every day. Responsibilities
- Manage employee lifecycle processes end-to-end - from hiring and onboarding documentation through to contract changes, absences, and offboarding
- Keep employee data accurate and up to date in Workday, ensuring readiness for audits and compliance checks
- Support the monthly payroll cycle by collecting, validating, and submitting payroll inputs on time, coordinating with our external payroll provider
- Handle routine employee and manager queries with a service mindset, escalating more complex cases when needed
- Contribute to process improvements, documentation, and data quality routines - including spotting opportunities for automation

- Experience in a People Ops or HR administration setting is a plus, as is any exposure to payroll processes or tools like Workday, Notion, or Jira
