JOB PURPOSE The Trade Marketing Coordinator is responsible for defined product groups (Diesel, Starte&Alternator, Engine Management) to support sales by serving customer needs by strong collaboration with distributors and PHINIA commercial teams to drive local market growth. Analysis of sales mix, NTR sales, local pricing are key tasks. Also this role is designed to to coordinate local sales contracts and to create and credit notes (Sales Bonus as well as claims).
Responsibilities
- Trade marketing
- Facilitate effective collaboration and alignment between product marketing and commercial teams to drive local market(s) growth
- Act as an internal advocate for customer needs and insight
- Track, analyze and report sales portfolio mix, identify new opportunities. Maintain price lists by following regional price requirements
- Assure that correct content on the german website is indicated by collaborating with central team
- Customer engagement
- Actively engage with direct and indirect customers, and develop appropriate actions, to support product visibility and sales performance
- Efficiently respond to customer requests for information & support; enlist help from other teams where necessary
- Sales enablement & external communications
- Lead market communication of New-To-Range (NTR) & First-To-Market (F2M) products with sales team
- Tailor all content to local audience needs ensuring high accuracy levels
- Event & trade show management
- Join defined regional customer events to support sales team and gain market feedback by direct communication to direct and indirect customers
- Sales & marketing performance analysis
- Track and analyze campaign performance, sales data & customer engagement & develop actions to drive continual improvements
- Analyze and report on turnover impact by customers / International Trading Groups
- Price management
- Key contributor to local price list development & management, working in close collaboration with regional Category team to ensure regional consistency and adherance to pricing strategy
- Continuous improvement (CI)
- Identify and lead CI opportunities activities within the local market(s)
Requirements
- Education/Experience - Required Qualifications and skills
- 5+ years in trade marketing, channel marketing or sales support within the automotive aftermarket or industrial sectors.
- Bachelor's degree in marketing, Business or a related field.
- Strong project management and analytical skills.
- Experience in retail, B2B marketing and sales channel support.
- Ability to manage multiple stakeholders, including sales teams, dealers and marketing agencies.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office, CRM tools and data analysis software.
- Fluent in English
- Proficient in building customer relations and loyalty
- Strong analytical abilities and will have a data-oriented approach
- Confident ability to present and communicate effectively with customers
- Experience of social media marketing and content creation
- Open minded with high level of enthusiasm and energy
- Commercial mindset
- Self-starter and highly motivated
- Must own a valid driving license
- Have a flexible approach to travel
- Education/Experience - Preferred skills
- Bi-lingual - German and English
- Technical understand of automotive industry and aftermarket
- Experience of working in a global and cross matrix organization would be an advantage
