About the role

You will serve as a Director, Equal Employment Opportunity (DEEO) and principal advisor to the Commander and Executive Director on all matters related to the effective management and execution of the organization's Equal Employment Opportunity (EEO), Management Directive (MD) 715 and similar type programs for the NAVAL SEA SYSTEMS COMMAND (NAVSEA). *****This position is equivalent to a GS-14/15***** Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the NH-03 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: Executing and evaluating a civilian federal equal employment opportunity (EEO) program to include advising on the application of equal employment opportunity (EEO) program requirements and developing policy, strategic initiatives, and recommendations for senior leaders.
