Role Summary The Business Process & Solutions Analyst (internally known as Business Solutions Associate) is an entry-level role designed to build foundational experience in process improvement and operational transformation within the Investment Reporting team. You will help drive automation, efficiency, and scalability across the Investment Operations function. This role focuses on identifying opportunities to streamline processes, reduce operational risk, and implement innovative solutions using low- to medium-code technologies. You will partner closely with teams across Investment Operations, including Investment Performance & Reporting, Fund Administration, and Middle Office, as well as collaborate with Information Technology to design, develop, and implement solutions that enhance business outcomes. This role reports to the Investment Reporting Manager. This hybrid position will be based out of our Kansas City, MO office. This position is not eligible for visa sponsorship. Applicants must be authorized to work in the U.S. without visa sponsorship, now or in the future. How You Will Make an Impact Support transformation initiatives by evaluating and implementing new tools and technologies across Investment Operations. Analyze existing processes to identify opportunities to improve efficiency, scalability, and risk mitigation. Gather and document business requirements to support solution design and implementation. Develop and maintain automation and workflow solutions using Robotic Process Automation (RPA), low-code platforms, and/or Python. Leverage SQL, ETL tools, and data visualization platforms to build data pipelines, reports, and insights. Partner with cross-functional stakeholders to deliver integrated, high-quality solutions. Participate in testing efforts, including user acceptance testing (UAT), to ensure accuracy, reliability, and performance of solutions. Support quality assurance for both internally developed and vendor-provided tools. Build strong relationships across teams and develop subject matter expertise in investment data and reporting. Continuously identify opportunities to reduce manual work, enhance operational efficiency, and improve data integrity. What You Bring to the Team (Required) Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Information Technology, or a related field. Strong technical aptitude with the ability to learn new systems and tools quickly. Clear and effective communication skills, both written and verbal. Self-motivated and adaptable, with the ability to work both independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment. Additional Assets (Preferred) Experience with automation tools such as RPA, low-code platforms, or Python. Foundational knowledge of databases, data models, SQL, and ETL processes. Experience identifying and implementing process improvements. Hands-on experience with tools such as UiPath, Alteryx, ServiceNow, Tableau, Coric, or Seismic.
