Autonomous Vehicle Engineer (Electrical & Electronics)

Responsibilities

• Assist senior engineers in the design, development& maintaining of in house custom PCB boards for power distribution, general data acquisition & control and supplementary functionalities.
• Assist and support senior engineers in the design for Wire Harnesses - produce top quality harness designs optimized for routing, fabrication & maintenance.
• Assist senior engineers in the evaluation & the selection of suppliers and vendors - assess suppliers based on quality, reliability, cost and support while managing timelines and ensuring deliverables meet specifications.
• Conduct bench and vehicle level testing of electrical and electronics systems to validate functionality and performance. Identify and resolve issues related to designs, wirings, and components.
• Required Experience
• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Electrical Engineering, Electronics Engineering or related fields
• 1 to 3 years experience in PCB design, Electrical design & Harness design
• Fundametal knowledge of drive-by-wire systems, sensor suites and compute systems
• Experience with CANbus and other vehicle network protocols
• Flexible problem-solver, ability to adapt to evolving requirements & ambigous situations.
• Familiarity with process documentation.
