Senior Buyer for GS PROC, Pulp Energy & Circularity Project Procurement, Asia Pacific - Based in PT Valmet, Cikarang Indonesia Office. Are you the enthusiastic, self-driven and result-oriented professional who wants to move our customer's performance forward? We are looking for "Senior Buyer for PEC Project procurement" to be based in PT Valmet, Cikarang Indonesia Offices. This position reports to Senior Manager, PEC Project Procurement, Asia Pacific, GS PROCUREMENT. In this position you will have an opportunity to plan and execute assigned Project procurement activities at Indonesia for PEC BA in Asia Pacific region. What you will do at Valmet: 1. Plan and Execute assigned procurement of equipment, materials and services according to the supply plans. 2. Execute (when/if assigned) procurement of assigned Global Category according to the supply plans 3. Ultimately responsible for cost, time and quality for executed purchase orders including change requests and claims 4. To continuously be updated with the latest category strategies and execution of category strategies in projects 5. Liaise with Category Management, Project Management, production or other function to specify the need for procurement solutions 6. Responsible for supplier mapping and sourcing activities to ensure sufficient supplier market knowledge and manage supplier relations 7. Ensure timely Procurement of equipment, materials and services in accordance with the established supply plan and project schedule by executing the below tasks. Create, send, receive and evaluate RFQ packages Check potential volume pooling opportunities for assigned categories Create negotiation strategy, execute supplier negotiations and create contracts/purchase orders Initiate or execute purchase order creation in LN Infor Initiate or execute archiving of contracts/purchase orders Communicate contracts/purchase order content with key stakeholders Execute closing, administration and invoice matching of own Purchase Orders/Contracts Manage commercial aspects of purchase orders such as change requests and claims Stay updated on delivery quality status on own contracts/purchase orders Stay updated on category strategies affecting area of responsibility Proactively share local information with Category manager, Sourcing Manager and category teams Give input to Cost of Poor Quality information 8. Ensure needed logistic and transportation solutions till delivery. 9. Support supplier invoice payment process 10. Manage relevant purchasing/supplier master data and contract administration 11. Effectively Coordinate within the team and by identifying development activities 12. Adhering to company's Health, Safety and Environmental (HSE) procedures 13. Adhering to company's Values, Business principles and Code of conduct To succeed this role, you will need: Bachelor's degree in Engineering. (Preferably Mechanical Engineering) Minimum 7 years of relevant procurement experience & Overall Experience less than 15 Years. Effective written and oral communication skills in English Ability to understand Engineering Manufacturing Drawings & Prepare Total Cost Analysis MS Office skills ERP LN Infor working knowledge Preferred
