Requirements

• 1 year related mechanical experience.
• CERTIFICATIONS & LICENSURES
• Powered Industrial Truck Certification
• KNOWLEDGE/SKILLS/ABILITIES
• Proficient in performing production equipment preventive maintenance.
• Able to diagnose equipment faults and malfunctions.
• Able to read and understand schematics/blueprints.

JOB SUMMARY Join our amazing production team in Commerce, CA (just north of the Citadel). Provide maintenance support and repairs to production machinery and facility for a 24 hr. / 7-day manufacturing operation. Additionally, performs the duties of Facilities Support as required. Maintenance work hours are subject to vary. SCHEDULE Wed - Sun, 8:15PM to 4:30AM (rotating work days) KEY DUTIES/RESPONSIBILITIES Production Support: Respond in a timely manner to all maintenance requests on the production floor. Train production technicians in the proper setup and copy troubleshooting techniques. Provide training and assistance to production technicians as needed to help maximize production output and minimize downtime through the utilization of proper production techniques and handling practices. 30% Troubleshooting & Repairs: Effectively diagnose mechanical and basic electrical problems in assigned area (facility, machinery, equipment, etc.) Make timely and accurate repairs, as necessary, during production Utilize illustrated parts breakdown manuals and operational manuals in the repair, modification, and maintenance of equipment. 30% Preventative Maintenance: Inspect machinery for potential problems on a daily basis. Documents problems and schedules work/repairs as appropriate. Respond to all assigned maintenance work orders in a timely manner. Responsible for performing preventive maintenance (PM) activities in accordance with the preventive maintenance plan. These activities will be recorded using proper PM sheets. 30% Housekeeping/Other: Perform housekeeping duties required of maintenance staff including work area clean-up, machine, and equipment clean-up, sweeping up after clean-up and various other general housekeeping duties as assigned. 5% Administrative: Perform inventory control of parts and equipment used from inventory. Inform Supervisor of parts and equipment used from inventory. Record maintenance activities using the proper computer application or paperwork.
