About the role

LSE is committed to building a diverse, equitable and truly inclusive university Salary from £43,277 to £51,714 pa inclusive with potential to progress to £55,497 pa inclusive of London allowance This is fixed term position until 31st July 2028. The Digital Skills Lab (DSL) equips LSE students with practical digital skills, working alongside academic departments, LSE Careers, and LSE LIFE to create digitally confident social scientists. The postholder will join a team of training specialists focused on integrating emerging technologies into DSL services. The initial focus will be generative AI, specifically Microsoft 365 Copilot and Claude, alongside the team's broader offer across Microsoft 365 and coding. Key responsibilities: Design and deliver engaging training that supports students' academic and career development, with a focus on generative AI. Evaluate and support effective use of generative AI and other emerging technologies in learning and professional practice. Build and maintain relationships with internal and external stakeholders to embed new technologies into teaching and learning. Keep training content accurate and current as the technology landscape evolves. Manage training events end to end, with support from colleagues. Applicants need to have extensive experience designing and delivering digital skills training, including with generative AI tools, and strong communication and networking skills. Proficiency in at least one data analysis tool (Excel, Power BI, Python, or R) is required, along with a track record of evaluating and integrating emerging technologies into practice.
