About the role
Höganäs in North America is seeking an Accounting Coordinator to work at our Hollsopple, PA plant. This position coordinates all aspects of the accounts payable function and the recording and reconciling of general ledger transactions. Responsibilities include but are not limited to: Registers, processes, and verifies invoices with corresponding purchase orders to facilitate invoicing approvals. Verifies and processes expense reports. Performs end of month closings. Collects and maintains W-9s for all vendors. Completes and files 1099's, 1042's, and other various required documents. Responsible for issuing all vendor payments according to company terms. Performs account reconciliations. Actively exhibits leadership capabilities in all aspects of their work. Maintains a safe working environment for themselves and others. Displays conscious awareness of what is required to ensure a sustainable Höganäs. Qualified candidates will possess an Associate's Degree in Accounting and two years of experience, preferably in a manufacturing environment. Computer proficiency in Microsoft Office and Accounting software and accounting practices and invoice processing is required. Excellent organizational and communication skills.
