The CDL A Driver II is responsible for the safe transportation of hazardous and non‑hazardous bulk liquid waste between Reworld facilities and customer sites, primarily operating out of the Winneconne facility. This role is primarily local and home daily, with occasional regional or overnight runs as needed. Drivers will operate a variety of manual transmission equipment including tankers, tractor‑trailers, roll‑off trucks, box trucks, and quad‑axle straight trucks. The position involves hands‑on, physical work and requires a strong focus on safety, compliance, and operational reliability. Primary Responsibilities Safely operate commercial vehicles to transport hazardous and non‑hazardous bulk liquid loads in accordance with DOT regulations, company policies, and scheduled customer requirements Operate tanker and related equipment to load, unload, and transport bulk liquid materials at customer sites and Reworld facilities Perform thorough pre‑trip and post‑trip inspections on assigned vehicles and equipment and report any mechanical or safety concerns Complete local routes primarily home daily, with potential for occasional overnight or out‑of‑state runs as business needs require Additional Responsibilities Complete all required administrative paperwork including manifests, bills of lading, hazardous waste documentation, logs, delivery receipts, and inspection reports Ensure proper placarding of vehicles and loads in compliance with DOT and hazmat regulations Maintain clear and professional communication with dispatch, customers, and facility personnel regarding routing, delays, and job status Perform physical job duties including handling hoses, connecting and disconnecting equipment, and other manual labor associated with tanker operations Operate equipment safely in varying weather conditions and customer site environments Follow written and verbal route instructions and adapt to changing customer or operational needs Complete additional duties as assigned Required Qualifications Must be 21 years of age or older due to interstate travel and federal regulations Valid CDL Class A required Tanker endorsement required; Hazmat endorsement preferred Minimum of 3 years of commercial driving experience, including tanker or bulk liquid hauling Experience operating manual transmission vehicles required Acceptable driving record and ability to meet DOT and company compliance standards Willingness to perform physical labor including hose handling and manual tasks
Requirements

- Schedule and Work Environment
- Primarily local, home‑daily routes out of the Winneconne facility
- Typical schedule consists of 8 to 10 hour days, averaging 45 to 50 hours per week
- Start times typically around 5:00 AM, with flexibility based on customer requirements
- Occasional overnight or regional runs may be required, with per diem provided
