Job Description: Your work environment: A vacancy has arisen within our Supply Chain department for a Planner for our new Ends department based at Korinthos (Greece). Reporting to the Supply Chain Manager you will be responsible to provide production plans for the Ends department which enable the plant to attain maximum production and efficiency, whilst meeting Customer requirements on-time-in-full and maintaining customer finished goods stocks to the agreed inventory levels. You are striving for continual improvement in all aspects of our planning processes by actively seeking feedback and ways to improve efficiency and quality in your area. Your mission in Crown Analyse customer forecasts and create a "shortage analysis" and use this data to forward plan production requirements Plan the lines to achieve optimal run length whilst ensuring that customer deliveries are not compromised. Ensure availability of raw materials and packaging to meet Ends production-sales forecasts. Produce and issue production plans ensuring that the production lines are planned sufficiently ahead and that the production lines are never short of work. Organise and maintain customer logistics elements related to: sales orders, production planning, stock management, distribution, database maintenance, and procedures. Maintain databases, including sensitive information, for the production lines ensuring amendments are made and invoices are correct. Monitor slow moving stock and work with the Commercial Director to actively reduce this. Take part in the weekly forecast meeting and highlight any variances in volumes. Complete all weekly and monthly reporting on time in full and with accuracy. Maintain customer and final product data in SAP and ensure that holds and returns are processed in compliance with SOX procedures. About you The successful candidate has an Industrial Engineering or Supply chain background, with minimum 2 to 5 years' proven experience in a similar role ideally in a high-speed, high volume or 24/7 environment. You possess excellent communication skills both written and verbal and be able to influence key stakeholders when required. You have a logical approach and have the ability to organise and work autonomously whilst being a key member of a small team. You need a pro-active, flexible approach. Computer literate, with Excel skills at an intermediate level as a minimum, you have a working experience of an ERP (SAP). Besides Greek, you are fluent in written and spoken English.
