We have an exciting opportunity for a Director of Nursing who is committed to clinical excellence and enjoy mentoring and developing nursing teams in a senior living setting. This position is ideal for the leader who thrives in collaborative environment and is passionate about providing person-centered care. The salary for this role is $90,000 to $102,000 DOE Our Director of Nursing: Initiates the development and implementation of policies and procedures that govern the Nursing Services in collaboration with appropriate services. Participates in SNF planning, decision making and policy formulation at management meetings. Maintains regulatory requirements. Engages and support our programs (which may include Assisted Living, Memory Care, and/or other departments. Plans, develops, implements and controls the annual budget for the nursing personnel. Demonstrates knowledge of the geriatric resident and short term stay / rehabilitation programs. Evaluates nursing staff ability to assess and care for residents. Coordinates and directs resident care and education by monitoring care plans and coaching nursing staff to improve the quality of care rendered. Oversees the assessment of all residents and the completion and updating the Minimum Data Sets and Care Plans. Participates in the interviewing, hiring, staffing, coaching and disciplinary actions of Skilled Nursing Facility staff. Supports the Transforming Age Culture of Excellence in all areas of responsibility. Perform other duties as assigned. What you need to succeed! Licensed RN in good standing. For California positions, Current BCLS certification and Certifications. College degree in related field or significant experience preferred. Three years minimum supervisory and administrative experience, inclusive of budgeting and program development. Two years or more working with senior adults. Gerontology nursing experience preferred.
