About the role
What is the job about? The production operator reports directly to the Team Leader of Production Assembly. You will work closely with production engineers to provide timely technical support and develop a solid understanding of Grundfos pump products across various assembly lines. Your main responsibilities Follow work orders Carry out tasks according to the given work instructions and procedures. Operate machinery and equipment safely and correctly. Report quality issues Inform the line leader immediately if you notice defective components or problems during final testing/inspection. Help fix any non‑conforming products. Check BOM (Bill of Materials) If you see any differences or mistakes in the Production BOM, report them to the line leader for correction. Use proper assembly & testing methods Apply the required techniques and practices during assembly and testing. Do scheduled maintenance Carry out maintenance on factory equipment as per the maintenance plan. Keep your workstation clean Perform general housekeeping and always follow company safety and environmental rules. Flag equipment issues Tell your superior if equipment needs maintenance or calibration to avoid breakdowns, downtime, or inaccurate results. Support improvements Suggest and take part in process improvements to help the team work more efficiently. Use systems like SAP when required. Practice 5S & safety Follow 5S principles (Sort, Set in order, Shine, Standardize, Sustain). Always comply with safety policies, safe job procedures, and hazard risk assessments. Your background : We imagine that you have: 1 to 2 years of relevant work experience Good Mechanical skills Minimum GCE O‑Level, SPM or Equivalent, or Nitec qualification in Electrical or Mechanical Engineering
