CloudKit Client Software Engineer

About the role

We work on the client-side of iCloud services, building the foundations for a secure and private cloud from device to device encrypted storage in the cloud to protected computation. Apple's commitment to privacy runs deep and this team is key to extending this commitment to the cloud. This position will involve close collaboration with the CloudKit team, several teams working on server components as well as Apple's Cryptography and Privacy teams. This job entails both low-level (C/Objective C, libdispatch, POSIX APIs) and system-level skills (synchronization protocols, framework design, IPCs, multi-process performance work, system-wide resource sharing.) Reliability is essential, and we're looking for engineers with a real passion for building complex systems that will seamlessly recover in the event of errors. Does this sound like you? Requirements

• Experience in Swift concurrency
• Ability to build relationships with diverse groups of people
• Experience with Event-based programming or inter-process communication is a plus
• Proven track record of working on rapid development cycles and shipping software on tight schedules
• Software engineering experience with strong programming skills in Swift and/or Objective-C
• Experience building on Apple Platforms (macOS, iOS, watchOS, tvOS, etc.)
• Experience in building system-level frameworks and APIs
• Excellent communication
• Bachelor's Degree in an engineering-related field or equivalent related experience","internalDetails":null
