Responsibilities

• Manage a large acute caseload across general medicine and surgical wards.
• Deliver nutritional assessments, care plans, and ongoing patient management.
• Support complex discharge planning, including home enteral feeding arrangements.
• Work collaboratively with the multidisciplinary team to optimise patient outcomes.
• Provide cross-cover for colleagues during planned and unplanned leave.
• Qualifications and Experience
• HCPC registered Dietitian
• Previous NHS experience is essential.
• Experience in acute general medicine and/or surgical wards desirable.
• Ability to manage a busy and fast-paced caseload.
• Strong communication, organisational, and teamwork skills.

This role offers the opportunity to work within a busy acute teaching hospital, supporting patients across general medicine and acute surgical wards. You will manage a large and varied caseload, typically handling 20-30 patients, while also supporting colleagues across the service. The role includes involvement in complex discharge planning, particularly for patients requiring home enteral feeding.
