Your Role Reporting and Analysis: Lead the integration of South Africa's reporting processes into the regional framework, identifying and implementing efficiencies. Take point on South Africa Group Reporting effective 2027. Assess and enhance regional reporting processes to meet the evolving needs of local offices. Support the development and implementation of standardized procedures for timely and effective result analysis. Conduct in-depth analysis and provide actionable insights into key drivers of financial results. Support Annual Planning and Delivery across Asia Pacific & Africa. Review and Support: Be the first line reviewer of Munich Re's South Africa business. Lead the Group Reporting for Japan, Korea, Retakaful and Middle East business, supporting the Regional Head of Reporting and the Regional Chief Actuary with the quarterly and annual reserving and quality assurance. Support the review of other business units across Asia Pacific. Technical Expertise: Serve as the technical expert on the systems and tools within the job function. Implement a treaty-level IFRS17 analysis tool across LH2. Support the enhancement of the prognosis process across Singapore branch. Your Profile Minimum of 5 years of relevant actuarial experience, with strong progress in actuarial examinations. Solid understanding of IFRS 17 and Solvency II reporting frameworks. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with a keen eye for detail. Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to convey complex concepts clearly. Proven ability to manage and resolve conflicts constructively. Proficiency in Microsoft Excel; experience with programming languages such as VBA, R, Python, or SQL is highly desirable.
