Network Specialist / Engineer

Responsibilities

• Design, configure, and maintain LAN/WAN network infrastructure.
• Install and support networking equipment including routers, switches, firewalls, and wireless systems from vendors likeCisco Systems.
• Monitor network performance and troubleshoot issues (latency, packet loss, outages).
• Configure and manage VLANs, routing protocols(OSPF, EIGRP, BGP), and IP addressing.
• Implement and maintain network security (ACLs,VPNs, firewalls, IDS/IPS).
• Perform network upgrades, patching, and capacity planning.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams for infrastructure and application support.
• Maintain network documentation, diagrams, andSOPs.
• Provide L1/L2 support and handle incident/problem management.
• Desired Skills & Experience:
• Excellent knowledge of TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, and routing protocols
• Experience with network hardware (Cisco, PaloAlto etc.).
• Familiarity with firewalls, IDS/IPS, and VPNtechnologies.
• Proficiency in network monitoring tools.
• Analytical problem-solving and communicationskills.
• Relevant certifications (CCNA, CCNP, CompTIANetwork+) is a plus.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, IT, or related field.
• CCNA Certification (mandatory); CCNP is a plus.

Additional Information

The Network Specialist / Engineer role is to provide technical service to our enterprise customers. The ideal candidate will be deployed for onsite implementation work and will be on a 5-day work week schedule. To provide level 1 and 2 network support for our enterprise customers.
