Rowanbrook Care Home is a purpose built service in Walsall, providing specialist nursing and residential care for 59 residents with complex health needs. The home offers a structured and supportive environment where a multidisciplinary team delivers high quality, person centred care focused on stability, wellbeing and maintaining independence. Head Housekeeper Contract £13.25 per hour Contracted to 37.5 hours per week Monday to Friday Paid DBS, pension, uniform provided 5.6 weeks annual leave (based on a full time contract) Role Overview As Head Housekeeper, you will take overall responsibility for the cleanliness, presentation and organisation of the home within a specialist complex care setting, supporting individuals with a range of complex physical and mental health needs. This is a key leadership role where your standards and attention to detail will directly impact safety, comfort and daily experience. You will lead and manage the housekeeping team, overseeing the cleaning of residents' rooms, bathrooms and all communal areas to ensure consistently high standards of hygiene and presentation. You will coordinate daily operations, ensuring tasks are completed efficiently and in line with infection control, health and safety and housekeeping procedures. Working closely with other departments, you will ensure a well organised and responsive service, mindful of working within an occupied care environment. You will monitor quality, manage supplies and support your team through training, guidance and leadership, creating a positive and high performing environment.
