Within the Fluids Connectors division, you will join the Business team for our Railway market; based on the strategies set out by the Market Manager and in collaboration with the Product Manager, you will provide sales and development support to business units and distributors. In this role, your responsibilities will include: Sales support: Provide technical and commercial advice and guidance to business units and distributors Analyse and validate the specifications of business units, distributors and customers, ensuring alignment with the commercial strategy Review tender contracts and pricing requests, ensuring compliance with the margin levels defined by management, and prepare quotations Support negotiations for strategic business opportunities within business units and/or with customers Advise and support the rail market manager in drafting multi-country customer contracts Initiate and monitor business within production units Business Development: Identify and report new market needs and trends to support the Market Manager in geographical expansion Communicate updates regarding products, applications and/or market strategy to the business units Contribute to the development of training materials Train sales representatives in the business units Contribute to the continuous improvement of the service Mobility: occasional travel within France and abroad Education: Bac+5 technical and/or commercial degree, typically from an engineering school specialising in mechanical engineering, fluid mechanics or electrical engineering. A qualification at a different level, supplemented by significant experience in this role, is acceptable Experience: A minimum of five years in a similar role, preferably within the railway industry Specific skills: Ability to read technical drawings Knowledge of the characteristics and behaviour of fluids and materials Sales techniques and market approaches Results-oriented: turnover / margin / investments Technical proficiency in the field of mechanics Basic knowledge of electrical engineering would be an advantage ERP (SAP), CRM, Data Analysis, BI (Business Intelligence), Microsoft Office 365 Foreign languages: fluency in English essential, German is a plus Qualities: attention to detail, good interpersonal skills, solution-oriented and customer-focused Full-time permanent contract A range of benefits await you: an attractive salary commensurate with your experience, two fixed annual bonuses, a profit-sharing and incentive scheme, a strong focus on quality of life at work (staff canteen, transport, crèches, remote working, etc.), private health insurance, Works Council, Stäubli cooperative, and a superb view of the mountains!
