Introduction to the job We are looking for a strong and proactive leader to join our Production Planning (PP) team as a Group Lead successor. This role plays a critical part in ensuring operational excellence by balancing demand and supply, driving planning performance, and enabling cross-functional alignment across manufacturing, program, and supply chain teams. The position requires strong leadership, structured thinking, and the ability to operate in a dynamic environment with high complexity and ambiguity. Role and responsibilities Lead and develop the Production Planning team to ensure stable delivery performance and operational efficiency Drive demand & supply alignment and secure output while maintaining quality and cycle time performance Own and improve planning processes (WOW), including master planning, capacity planning, and escalation management Act as a key interface between Manufacturing, Program (NPI), Supply Chain, and other stakeholders Identify risks in capacity, materials, and execution, and proactively propose mitigation plans Enable data-driven decision making through analysis, scenario simulation, and performance tracking Support organizational development, including coaching team members and building future successors Drive continuous improvement initiatives to enhance planning efficiency, transparency, and scalability Education and experience Bachelor's or Master's degree in Industrial Engineering, Supply Chain, Operations Management, or related field 5+ years of experience in production planning, operations, or supply chain environment Experience in semiconductor, high-tech manufacturing, or complex assembly environment is preferred Proven experience in leading teams or project leadership is a plus
