Company : Allegheny Health Network Job Description : GENERAL OVERVIEW: This job is responsible for supporting the development and execution of strategies to cultivate and strengthen relationships with referring physicians and practices within a defined geographic territory. This position supports patient volume growth by assisting in maximizing referral and redirection opportunities for both inpatient and outpatient services throughout the AHN network. The individual assists in the planning and execution of outreach initiatives targeting employed and independent physicians, as well as other key referral sources within the targeted market, contributing to the alignment, growth, reputation, and overall success of our healthcare system. This position requires a proactive, results-driven, and organized individual with excellent communication, interpersonal, and relationship-building skills. The individual works under the guidance of senior team members and has opportunity to exercise independent judgment in the attainment of objectives. ESSENTIAL RESPONSIBILITIES: Establish, nurture, and sustain productive and collaborative relationships with referring physicians, practice managers, and other key stakeholders within the assigned territory. (20%) Participate in regularly scheduled visits to physician office to foster rapport, communicate the value proposition of services, programs, and clinical expertise to key referral sources, ensuring strategic alignment with AHN institute priorities (20%) Assist in the implementation of strategic outreach plans, informed by market analysis and data insights, encompassing a variety of events and activities designed to enhance visibility, strengthen brand awareness, and promote peer-to-peer engagement within the medical community. (10%) Serve as a point of contact for referring physicians, proactively addressing their basic needs, answering their questions, and ensuring their satisfaction with our services and the overall patient experience providing escalation of barriers to referral relationships for timely and effective resolution. (10%) Support the team in identifying, evaluating, and capitalizing on opportunities to increase referrals, service utilization, and market share. (10%) Assist in the AHN physician integration process within respective territories, coordinating provider education, facilitating connections with peers and hospital leadership, arranging facility tours (when appropriate), and ensuring thorough documentation to promote seamless experiences for new physicians. (10%) Engage in the collection, analysis, and interpretation of market intelligence, including feedback from affiliated and non-affiliated physicians, to identify emerging trends, unmet needs, competitive threats, and potential opportunities for expansion. Prepare reports and presentations summarizing key findings and recommendations. (10%) Maintain accurate, detailed, and up-to-date records of all client visits, interactions, and related activities in the designated contact management database (CRM), ensuring data integrity and enabling efficient reporting. (10%) Performs other duties as assigned or required.
