About the role
We are looking for an energetic and motivated Test Automation Engineer to join our DevOps and Quality Engineering team. This role will focus on building, maintaining, and executing automated test solutions that support our engineering teams. Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and maintain automated test suites across multiple systems and services
- Contribute to the evolution of test automation frameworks and tooling
- Execute automated and manual tests as required to validate features and releases
- Investigate and troubleshoot test failures , identifying root causes and working with engineering teams on fixes
- Collaborate with developers to ensure testability and quality are embedded early in the development lifecycle
- Support integration of automated testing into CI/CD pipelines
- Contribute to quality metrics and reporting , helping improve visibility of test outcomes
- Ensure best practices in test automation are followed across the team
- Participate in code reviews and continuous improvement initiatives
- Experience & Skills
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related discipline
- 3-5 years' experience in software testing or test automation
- Hands-on experience with test automation tools and frameworks (e.g. Selenium, Cypress, Playwright or similar)
- Experience working with programming languages including .Net/C#/C++
- Performance Testing experience, including Load and Stress testing
- Understanding of API testing and test automation strategies
- Experience working within Agile / Scrum environments
- Exposure to CI/CD tools (e.g. Jenkins, GitHub Actions, GitLab CI)
- Strong debugging and problem-solving skills
- Good communication and collaboration skills
Requirements
- Experience with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or GCP)
- Knowledge of containerisation (Docker, Kubernetes)
- Exposure to performance or security testing tools
- Familiarity with telecoms, IoT, or connected device ecosystems
