Commercial Attorney (LAC)

Responsibilities

• Provide clear, practical legal advice to business teams on commercial, contractual, regulatory, and compliance risks
• Review, draft, and negotiate a wide range of commercial agreements , delivering end-to-end contract lifecycle support
• Support the business in understanding and mitigating legal risks in proposals, contracts, and commercial documentation
• Partner with cross-functional teams including finance, procurement, compliance, and operations
• Contribute to legal process improvements, templates, and playbooks to enhance efficiency and consistency
• Support integration of newly acquired businesses and contribute to regional and global legal initiatives
• Build strong working relationships across global and regional legal teams and business stakeholders

Requirements

• Required
• Qualified lawyer in Brazil with 4+ years PQE , including in-house experience within a multinational organization
• Strong expertise in commercial contracts, risk management, and legal advisory in a global business context
• Working knowledge of contract, environmental, procurement/public tenders, corporate, commercial, and data privacy law
• Experience drafting and negotiating digital, professional, and consulting services agreements
• Fluent Portuguese and English , with working knowledge of Spanish
• Proven ability to work cross-functionally and internationally
• Strong communication, stakeholder engagement, and influencing skills
• A proactive, solutions-oriented mindset with the ability to manage competing priorities
• Preferred
• Experience with engineering, construction, or environmental-related contracts
• Exposure to compliance frameworks and regulatory environments in multiple jurisdictions
• Demonstrated experience building trusted advisor relationships with senior stakeholders
