Job Title - Scrum Master - Capital Markets Reports to - Head of Technology - Capital Markets Role Description This role is accountable for driving sprint execution, delivery governance, planning, team coordination, and delivery outcomes across cross-functional agile teams. The Scrum Master works closely with Project Managers, Business Analysts, Developers, Testers, Architects, and Client Delivery stakeholders to ensure delivery commitments are achieved to agreed scope, timelines, and quality standards. Team Responsibilities The FNZ Capital Markets Delivery team is responsible for delivering Syn~ platform capabilities, client implementations, regulatory change, operational improvements, and strategic product initiatives across global Capital Markets customers. Specific Role Responsibilities Lead delivery execution for assigned agile squads and project workstreams Facilitate sprint ceremonies including stand-ups, sprint planning, backlog refinement, retrospectives, and showcases Drive teams to deliver against agreed milestones, sprint goals, and release plans Monitor daily delivery progress and proactively address blockers and delivery risks Maintain accurate delivery tracking across Jira and associated governance tooling Coordinate dependencies across teams, vendors, and business stakeholders Coach teams on agile delivery practices and continuous improvement principles Support estimation activities and challenge assumptions where appropriate Provide regular status updates to Delivery leadership and stakeholder groups Experience required Essential Experience & Skills 5+ years' experience in Scrum Master, Delivery Lead, or Agile Project Delivery roles Strong experience operating within agile software delivery environments Strong understanding of Scrum, Kanban, and agile delivery frameworks Experience using Jira and Confluence for delivery management and reporting Desirable Experience & Knowledge Experience within financial services, wealth management, or capital markets environments Agile certification (e.g. CSM, PSM, SAFe) desirable About FNZ Culture Our culture is what drives us.
