Compliance Officer - Asset Management Firm

About the role

We are partnering with an established asset management firm looking to add a Compliance Officer to its Singapore team. This role offers broad exposure across regulatory engagement, advisory, and compliance monitoring within a dynamic investment environment.

Responsibilities

• Support MAS-related regulatory matters, including filings and ongoing engagement
• Advise business units on regulatory requirements and related matters with the wider compliance team
• Assist with compliance monitoring, control testing, and periodic reviews
• Contribute to strengthening policies, procedures, and internal controls
• Support AML/KYC processes across onboarding and ongoing monitoring
• Engage with internal stakeholders, auditors, and external service providers
• Track regulatory updates and assist with implementation

Requirements

• Approximately 2+ years compliance experience within financial services
• Exposure to asset management or alternatives is a plus
• Familiarity with MAS regulations preferred
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Detail-oriented, proactive, and able to work in a hands-on environment
