Procurement Executive

Responsibilities

• Coordinate inventory requirements and procurement details with vendors.
• Maintain accurate and updated inventory records for both new and recycled equipment.
• Conduct inventory cycle counts.
• Account for and report inventory surplus, product returns, and any damages.
• Evaluate the cost movement of the company's products and assess purchase and invoice details.
• Research potential vendors, compare and evaluate offers.
• Track orders and ensure timely delivery.
• Monitor stock levels and place orders as needed.
• Propose improvements to the inventory recording system.
• Purchase goods or services that meet the quantity and quality expectations of the organization.
• Evaluate and negotiate contracts with vendors.
• Stay up to date on industry trends and new products.
• Compare available goods with industry trends to determine appropriate pricing
• Handle ad-hoc tasks as assigned.
• Personal Attributes:
• Knowledge of barcode equipment.
• Proficient in using PCs and inventory software.
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
• Strong calculative and analytical skills.
• Effective time management to meetdeadlines.
• Good written and verbal communication skills.
• Solid understanding of basic accounting principles.

Requirements

• Minimum 'O' Level qualification.
• Diploma in Accountancy, Administration, Material Management, Logistics, Supply Chain, or a relatedfield.
• At least 2 years of relevant experience.
• Data entry skills and a knack for numbers.
• Able to speak Bilingual or Multilingual languages as an advantage, as some clients are only able to speak Mandarin.
