About the role

As a Community Engagement Worker with Wellways, you'll help ensure the Dubbo MMHC is community-driven, inclusive and responsive to local needs. Your work will strengthen wellbeing, build partnerships and create opportunities for individuals, families and communities to connect and thrive. Requirements

  • Certificate IV in Social Science/Community Development (or relevant experience)
  • Understanding of community development principles and mental health recovery
  • Experience working in human services, community development, or related sectors
  • Skills in partnership-building, social inclusion and person-centred practice
  • Strong organisational skills and ability to work independently
  • Required Compliance
  • Right to work within Australia
  • 100 points of identification
  • Current valid Driver's Licence and the ability to undertake some travel
  • Satisfactory National Police Records Check
  • NDIS Worker Orientation Module Certificate
  • NDIS Worker Screening Check
  • Working with Children's Check (Employee)
