About the role
You will serve as a SECURITY SPECIALIST (COMMAND AND STAFF PROGRAM) in the COMMANDER NAVY REGION MARIANAS. Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-09 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Ensures that all headquarters personnel assigned to national security positions or sensitive duties are appropriately cleared. 5. Coordinate with CNIC HR staff for onboarding and vetting requirements for new employees ensuring check in processes are in place for individuals working on-site and remotely under the Virtual Onboarding Environment (VOE). 6. Serve as an organizational administrator for various security systems to include Electronic Questionnaires for Investigative Processing (e-QIP), Secure Web Fingerprint Transmission (SWFT), and Defense Information Security System (DISS) providing account management oversight to headquarters and region security staff. Serves as a Trusted Agent Security Manager (TASM) by utilizing the Trusted Associate Sponsorship System (TASS) to ensure the proper issuance of CACs to contractors, interns, volunteers and external employees supporting the Navy. Provide guidance to Trusted Agents (TAs) at headquarters to keep all appointees informed of any changes to policies and procedures. Manage multiple TA accounts, access to TASS and track TA training requirements.
