AECOM is actively seeking a highly skilled CEI Senior Inspector to join our team and support ongoing construction engineering and inspection efforts in the Port St Lucie,FL area. This role will play a critical part in ensuring that major transportation and infrastructure projects are delivered in accordance with FDOT standards, contract requirements, and overall project objectives. Performs highly complex technical assignments related to field surveying and construction layout, ensuring accuracy and adherence to project specifications Verifies engineering computations, inspects construction work, and conducts field testing to maintain quality and compliance standards Coordinates, oversees, and provides guidance to junior inspectors to ensure consistent execution of inspection activities Operates under the general supervision of the Project Administrator while exercising independent judgment in daily responsibilities Utilizes experience and sound judgment to effectively plan, prioritize, and accomplish project goals Establishes and manages project timelines and deadlines to support overall project delivery Provides on-the-job training and mentorship to new team members to support their development and integration Monitors conformance to quality, performance, specifications, and applicable code requirements through detailed inspection activities Conducts daily field inspections and maintains accurate, organized inspection records and reports Participates in punch list development, system testing, and commissioning activities to ensure project completion standards are met Tracks and reports on quality assurance progress, identifying and addressing any deficiencies Contributes to documentation for area and equipment turnover packages, ensuring completeness and accuracy for project closeout Minimum Requirements: High School Diploma plus 4 years of experience or demonstrated equivalency of experience and or education U.S. Citizenship is required, due to the nature of the work Valid US Driver's License required to visit project sites, clients, and other AECOM offices. As a condition of employment, selected candidate must pass a Motor Vehicle Records review
