Responsibilities
- Process and reconcile corporate actions, including mandatory events such as mergers, restructurings, and entitlement postings to client accounts
- Interpret and validate data from internal systems and external vendors to ensure accuracy of client holdings and transaction activity
- Perform account balancing, suspense reconciliation, and exception research to resolve discrepancies
- Support high-volume, detail-oriented transaction processing across cash, securities, and asset movements
- Partner with internal teams including Financial Advisors, Investment Managers, and Operations to resolve transaction-related issues
- Complete independent verification of transactions processed by team members to ensure accuracy and control integrity
- Monitor shared team inboxes to manage incoming requests, prioritize work, and meet service level expectations
- Assist in processing class actions and other corporate event-related activities tied to client holdings
- Identify, escalate, and help resolve risk, compliance, or control issues in accordance with regulatory and internal standards
- Contribute to process improvement efforts to enhance efficiency, accuracy, and client experience
- Day-to-Day Work Environment:
- Education and Experience Required:
- Associate's degree or equivalent work experience
- 1+ years' general work experience
- Education and Experience Preferred:
- Degree in Business, Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related field
- Internship or early professional experience in a corporate or financial services environment
- Comfort working with technology and learning new systems quickly
- Experience with or exposure to Excel or other data tools
- Strong attention to detail and ability to work accurately in high-volume settings
- A demonstrated ability to learn quickly, adapt to new processes, and take on increasing complexity over time
- Solid organizational and communication skills
- Work Model & Location :
- This is a hybrid role requiring in-office presence four days per week
